The Spectra Collection: Back To The Basics

With so many bikini options available today, we wanted to take a step back and return to pieces that never go out of style.

The Spectra Collection was designed around timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details, and the effortless confidence that comes from wearing something that feels like it was made for you. Inspired by light, movement, and the energy that surrounds us, Spectra explores how color shifts, reveals, and reflects the person wearing it.

The Base Bikini Top - A Modern Take on a Triangle Top

We are obsessed with a classic triangle top, but wanted to elevate it’s simple design. Instead of creating a halter style, we designed our triangle bikini with adjustable shoulder straps to make the top feel more custom. Not to mention this sleek design looks good under clothing (aka no bulky ties).

The Spectra Bikini Top - A Sweetheart Top

When we were thinking about our favorite bikinis we kept coming back to the ones that had a flattering neckline. Insert the Spectra Bikini Top. We love her for her wide-set shoulder straps that give a 1800’s, Bridgerton, classic feminine neckline. And to make it a little more fun and modern, the top features a demi-cup style without any underwire. This suit is soft both in design and functionality.

The Base Bottom - Reimagined Cherry St. Bottoms (A Swamis Swim OG Design)

You talked and we listened! The popular Cherry St. Bottoms that we made a few years back have been reimagined, and are now called The Base bottoms. Our active, surfing girlies out there told us that the bottoms were great for the ocean - the zigzag stitching helps the suit stay put. As we were designing the Spectra Collection we wanted to bring back a bestseller with versatility, so we took a bikini that was already loved and gave it a 90s style silhouette with a slight “v-shape” rise in the front and back.

The Color of the Summer 

Blue Crush is the epitome of a classic surf movie, so we knew we had to name this color after it. Blue Crush is the perfect pop of blue that has just the “look at me” factor. And while we were on the theme of the ocean, our dark navy blue set is named Saltwater, rightfully so. It has a ribbed waffle texture for a hint of detail, maybe even reminiscent of the subtle texture of seaweed! Blue looks good on every skin tone, whether it’s at the beginning or end of the tanning season.

A Reversible Polka Dot Bikini

Reversible bikinis are back in! And what is more classic than a polka dot bikini? So naturally we combined the two. For the Spectra top and bottoms one side is Polka Dot Mocha and the other side is Powder Blue. We love the versatility of this bikini as the two colors make an uncommon but delightful pair.

And A Pink Floral Print

To finish out the Spectra Collection, especially in the sweetheart neckline, we knew we needed a pop of pink. Orchid Burst has images of flowers, but in a tie dye effect. It’s pink and purple and a hint of orange. It’s girly without being Barbie, it’s effortlessly cool (like our Swamis community).
